It started with one introduction
MMG Patisserie began when our founder was introduced to Medovik by a close friend.
That first taste sparked a deep curiosity. Not just about the flavour, but about how the cake was built. The thin layers. The use of honey. The way Medovik develops over time instead of relying on heavy syrup or dense sponge.
What began as curiosity quickly became an obsession.
A foundation built long before Medovik
Before MMG Patisserie, our founder started as a home baker specialising in custom and designer cakes. She is also a trained Korean buttercream flower master, where precision, restraint, and patience are essential.
Those years shaped her approach to baking. Understanding structure. Respecting ingredients. Refining details instead of masking them.
To deepen her understanding of Medovik, she also learned directly from Eastern European masterchefs, studying the cake from its roots. Not just recipes, but the reasoning behind technique, layering, and balance.
Respecting tradition, refining the experience
Medovik is a rich cake by nature. Honey, cream, and multiple layers give it its character. It is not meant to be ultra-light.
Some of our flavours are intentionally more indulgent, while others are designed to feel brighter and more refreshing. Our role is not to change what Medovik is, but to refine it thoughtfully.
We focus on:

Not every flavour is meant for everyone, and we believe that honesty matters.
A focused menu, shaped by intention
Since launching MMG Patisserie in 2021, we’ve developed more than 25 Medovik flavours. Today, our menu is intentionally curated, keeping flavours that customers consistently return for while making room for seasonal and limited creations.
If a flavour remains, it’s because it earns its place.
